How to play
There is no timer and nothing to lose. You scratch, something appears, and you keep whatever you find.
- Scratch with your finger Drag across the screen. The sand comes away under your fingertip, with a small vibration and a soft scratching sound. Nothing is hidden behind a button - the whole screen is the thing you scratch.
- Watch a scene appear Underneath every surface there is a photo waiting: a cat trapped in a freezer, a raccoon climbing out of a bin, a tortoise hanging off a washing line. You never know which one you have until it starts showing.
- Find the keys inside the picture Every scene has between one and four keys somewhere in it — held in a mouth, tied to a tail, lying on the floor. The counter at the top fills as you uncover more of the picture.
- Finish whenever you like Once most of the surface is gone, the scene is yours. You can keep scratching the last corners if you find that satisfying, or move straight on to the next one. Nothing is rushing you.
What you collect
🖼️ Your album
Every scene you uncover is saved to your album permanently. Scenes you have not found yet are shown blurred — you can see that something is there, but not what. There are 25 scenes to find, and more are being added.
⭐ Points
Each key you find becomes a point. Sharing a picture you uncovered earns a few more. Points are spent in the Store on face filters and photo frames.
🔥 Streak
Playing on consecutive days builds a streak, and a streak of three days or more gives you a small bonus.
⚡ Energy
Uncovering a new scene costs one energy, and you have five. Energy refills by itself over time, so if you run out you can either come back later or watch a short video to get one back straight away.
The camera
Filters and frames you unlock are for your own photos. Open the camera, pick a filter, and it follows your face as you move. You can pinch with two fingers to resize it and drag it into place, because no two faces are the same shape.
Your camera stays on your device
Face tracking runs entirely inside your browser. No video frame and no photo is ever uploaded — not to us, not to anyone. See the privacy policy for the details.
Sharing
When you uncover a scene you can share it as it is. The scenes themselves cannot be edited — no filters or frames are applied to them — so what you share is the picture exactly as you found it. Filters and frames stay on the camera side, for photos of yourself.
Putting it on your phone
There is nothing to download from an app store. A bar appears at the bottom of the game saying Add to your phone - tap Add and it is done. It then opens full screen, with its own icon, like any other app.
On an iPhone, Safari does not allow one-tap adding, so tapping Add shows you the two steps instead: press the Share button at the bottom of Safari, then Add to Home Screen.
Once you have played a scene it is stored on your device, so the game still opens when you have no signal.
